He is so obsessed with her that he courts her mother and becomes her step-father; he then starts sexually abusing her shortly after. Lolita is his private nickname for her and is used to imply young girls.

The second Lolita film in 1997 is literally just an updated revision. The movie is literally the same. The only Hollywood materials associated with the name Lolita is a novel & 2 movies highlighting pedophilia. These people are in the entertainment industry, they are not stupid. Out of the hundreds - I'm sure dozens were well aware of the correlation. So then why would a bunch of people in Hollywood - take a plane named after a widely known, on screen sexually abused little girl - especially knowing the owner of the plane is a pedophile??.
